Need Help Installing Zen on shared MYSQL

Hey Guys:
I am doing a friend a favor and am building a stock photos site for his business as a photographer. He has an existing site for Jewelry and already has OS Commerce shopping cart installed for that site. My plan was to integrate Zencart into the new site on the same host and using the same MYSQL database. I got most of the site built but am very nervous about trying to load Zen Cart to the existing MYSQL database that already has OS Commerce running on it. His host says it IS possible but I don't have the expertise and am afraid to hose up his existing successful business site.

I have only installed Zen Cart on my own site once and have very little experience doing this.

If anyone has any advice or can help me with this....it will be greatly appreciated.
