Keep Main thumbnail off the product info page?

I have finally gotten the extra images to work however is there a way to keep the main thumbnail from showing up on the product info page? I upload a larger image and a thumbnail for that same product. I only want the thumbnail to show up on the product listing page.

Correct, I want only my thumbnail or small image to show on the product listing page, and the additional images to show up on the product info page...

well, what i've worked out is by having MED picture to be my main pic for product detail... and my normal pictures to be the size of thumbs....

well, my problem was to keep thumbnails from using my detailed default product immage.... which i think i solved with MED picture... i think...

I'm still working on this issue. I have the MED image in place on the product info page and when you click it the LRG image pops up in the lightbox. Perfect. The problem is in the additional picture under it the first one is good, the second two are redundant, they are just smaller versions of the original small one and the larger one that comes up when you click on the main image. This is what I am trying to prevent.

What folder have you placed each image in?

the MED and LRG are in the medium and large files and the others are in the main directory.
