I'm wondering if there is any way to display the out of stock message before a user actually reaches the shopping cart page.
My previous Oscommerce install displayed a javascript dropdown from the browser when the selected combination of attributes was out of stock... that was nice because it kept the customer from having to go back and forth to find the right stock.
Has anybody encountered a solution for this?
