Images and thumbnails

I do not know if this is the right place to post this question or not, but I am trying anyway.

When I started my store I decided to upload only one size images - 600*600 pxl. This worked fine in the beginning. But now when the traffic is higher, the large images in the product listing is taking up a lot of traffic space.

I have tried to reduze the size of the images to 150*150 and then one at 300*300 called productname_MED.jpg and at 600*600 called productname_LRG.jpg - but these are only showing as additional images.

So - how do I do this?

If you are placing these other images in the correct dir/folders then this should be automatic

Install Image Handler 2 from the Free Software Add Ons section then you can stay with only creating one size and let the system handle the rest.

Ok - I installed the image handler 2, but it is not working, it is only slowing my site down, and the images are still the same size. I tried installing the image handler 2 at another site and it was working great. So I was wondering if it could be because of the template I have used for my site. So I tried to remove the template, and using the original green template and just editing the colors and headers. But it is still the same. When I install the image handler the site is just slow and the images the same, and when I remove the image handler the site loads fine. You also reference another install....but did not provide any pertinent information about the ZenCart versions or the server(s) that they are installed on. IH2 should in no way slow your install down.
Difficult to assist when you essentially say " I have a problem with xxx, can you guess what it is without seeing anything"

Try uninstalling/reinstalling from admin > tools > Image Handler > admin

You still have not provided the basic information about these installs
The link you provided needs IH2 or image management manually.
I can not comment on your other install as it was not provided.

I am sorry but I am not sure what you mean with other install..
