    Default Sale/Specials Problem

    Hmm ok where t start lol,
    I am in a great place that uses Zen
    Yesterday a sale/Special was placed, Now the manager/Assistant manager who placed my items on the sale/specials marker does this day in day out everyday. Without many if not any problems at all. Well unfortunatly One of my items was placed into this sale without being placed there (I hope that this is making sense lol) Basically This item was put on sale without nobody putting on sale. The Manager has been over and checked and double checked again to make sure all was done correct, Now My manager has come back and informed me that everythign was done in the normal way, So this has to be a zen glitch. I need more advice Urgently on this matter as due to this i alone am out of pocket by over $100. Thanks for your time and patience.

    Check the Product and see what its master_categories_id is and if that categories_id is on Sale via SaleMaker ...

    Also check the Sale in SaleMaker and make sure no extra Categories were set on sale ...

    No the master category is my name for that product and in the sale that was set up, only designer names were selected, not CU or Designer servcies. Also both this and my other item were marked on special and it didn't mark my other item just this one in particular.

    Do you use Linked Products on your shop? As in ... are Products located in 1 Category or 1 to more than 1 Category?

    yes if the designer links them to other categories. For example you add the product to your designer folder and then link it to CU or Tagger Kits but there were no other categories selected, only the designer categories for those in the store

    Each Product belongs to a Category that is considered the Master Category and that is stored in the products table as the master_categories_id ...

    SaleMaker uses this master_categories_id when a Category is set on Sale and if it is the master_categories_id of the Product then that Product is placed on Sale ...

    What is the categories_id that was put on Sale and what are the Categories and their categories_id that this Product belong to?

    No other catogories were put on sale.

    What is the products_id that this happened to?

    What categories_id does this Product belong to?

    Which of the categories_id is set as the master_categories_id?

    What is the categories_id that was put on Sale in SaleMaker?
