    Default Backing Up

    Hi,
I'm kinda new to zen cart. I am using the standard template that comes with it. Not knowing where to start when I started I have been editing and making all changes in the original files. I have never backed anything up. What should I backup and how? I want to make sure I have everything I need. If anyone can help me and tell me what to backup and also how.
    Thanks for the help.
If you want to look at my site it's www.microbelift.net
If you think it's easier you can email me at goldmarkpromo################## or microbelift######################

    Thanks for the help

    1. Do a database backup using phpMyAdmin ... related FAQ: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=103
Save the backup file on your PC.

    2. Copy all your Zen Cart files+folders from your server to your PC using FTP.

    3. Copy both your database file and all your Zen Cart files/folders to a CD or DVD for safekeeping.

phpMyAdmin is almost always supplied by your hosting company. They probably have some FAQ articles on how to access it.
