Product and membership question

Hi there...

Ok, I am setting up my ZC (1.3.8a) as a used book store and have a couple of questions.

Question 1--
I have some books that are parts of a trilogy, how can I set them up so that someone can either purchase one of the books individually or can purchase all 3 as a unit priced less than what it would be if they bought all 3 books individually?

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Question 2--
I don't see anywhere in the system where it allows me to set up memberships, so I have set up memberships as a product type in the system. When someone becomes a member they will receive additional discounts based on a couple of different factors. When I set up group pricing though it only allows for an additional discount to be figured for the total in the cart, but I am wanting the additional discount they receive as a member to be applied to each product that they purchase ....

Hi

There is an addon by swguy called Better Together that you can use to set up pricing for products that are purchased together.

And with regards to membership, there are group discount settings in Admin that you can apply to certain customers - may be that will do what you are after.
