Lost 'add to cart' box.

Hello to all Zenners. i have been trying to set up my store to sell e-books. Somehow in the process i have lost my 'add to cart' boxes. Can anyone help? My head aches with trying to sort this out.( you can follow my progress in 'selling ebooks' Attributes product options.) Lee.

Sorry to Misty. i posted a new question before seeing your google links. i have tried about a dozen of them. some of the answers are things i have tried such as customer authorisation and i am still without an 'add to cart' box. Lee.

Lost 'add to cart' box. If I go to admin>catalog>product type> product -general and put YES for 'add to cart?' i get my 'add to cart' box back but now i have a message saying 'on the option for :download you picked an invalid selection; pdf. Can anyone tell me why. I feel like I am getting closer.
