Failed to Connect Upon Checkout

So, I've just got my cart mostly configured and am testing adding products to the cart and checking out. When I click checkout, I get a page load error: "failure to connect to the server".

This is obviously a huge gaping hole I'm missing here, but I've been through every single setting and can't find what I'm missing. Any ideas?

My login page has the same problem. Whenever it tries to connect to my server. My host is Dreamhost.

A search of the forum should point you to numerous threads that indicate problems using your hosting service with Zen Cart. Perhaps one of them has a solution?
