Setting up downloadable products.

Hello, I am setting up my cart for a product that my customers will download. I need instructions how to do this from the very beginning. If there is some other documentation that I could go to, I would be glad to be pointed to it, but I have not found any. This is the only product that I will have in my cart. I would like complete instructions as I am new the zencart. Thanks for your help in advance.

Ok I have follow those instructions. Thank you much BTW. However, I do run into a problem. When I try to enter the product in the attributes controller it gives me this error.

Error Attribute Option and Option Value Do NOT Match - Attribute was not added - : TEXT

I am probably not putting something in right. Could you help me there? Thanks

That's saying that you are not selecting the correct attribute vales... make sure you read about Attributes as well.

You could create an Option Name called "Download" (maybe a radio button would be best?) and then you would have to create a Option Value "filename" linked with the "Download" Option. Then go to add your attribute, selecting the "Download" and "Filename" then add the link there... (Also check that this is selected by default)
