    help question How do I correct a typo in the Welcome Email?

    I've been searching through these forums and the files in my ZenCart, and even the developer's toolkit, and I can't figure out where to find this particular string of text - "This email address was given to us by you or by one of our customers. If you did not signup..." The form of "signup" is incorrect, since this is a noun, not a verb clause. It would be the same as saying, "If you did not elephant..."

    I want to fix it by adding a space between "sign" and "up." Where and how do I do this? One of my services is proofreading, so to send something like this out makes me look bad. I've just gone through the Email section in the "E-Start" book, and still, I can't figure out how to change this.

    I've gone into zc-home/includes/languages/english/ and I can't even find the "create_account.php" file, and that's after I list the files in the directories by name alphabetically.

    Well, I found the create_php file. Different languages folder. I corrected the text. Now I have to figure out how to make it so.

    With the Developers Toolkit, did you try searching for a shortened phrase instead of the entire long string?
    ie: search for "signup" since that's the word you're disputing

    And ... remember to choose "All Language Files for ENGLISH - Catalog" in the pulldown before clicking Search or pressing Enter.

    Yup, I did search for just "signup." Nada. However, by digging around in the files, I found the text string. I corrected the string and uploaded it to the server. Hopefully that will do the trick. I didn't do any override.

    We'll see. I'm still going through the tutorial book.
