You can also just click and drag an image onto the desktop. Can't disable that.

Best thing to do, if you don't want people using your images, is to watermark them or just use an image that is barely good enough for viewing in a browser, but not nearly good enough for any other use. This also ensures the image is as small (file size-wise) as possible, which is always a good thing.
