    When did this suddenly start happening? When did you install this site? What has happened with your site and server recently? How many computers have you recreated this problem with?

    The last modification I did to my website was install stock by attributes module and update the header.php file code as per the support thread.

    But even though I went back to an older header.php file it still is a problem.

    1. It is random

    2. I tested my website after the modification to header.php in Chrome and it was working fine.

    I came to know about this problem yesterday. Chrome was still working okay but IE had this problem.

    As for the randomness, as of now as I write this post IE and Firefox are okay but Chrome is having the problem.

    We have lost business because of this and would definitely appreciate expert help.

    We have had 4 users create account on our website but did not purchase anything. So I can say 6 computers I know have had this issue.

    She also has this info to add:

    Actually today, I tried to login as a customer and when I put in my password it said "There was a security error when trying to login"; then I hit the login button again (without changing the password since I knew I typed it correctly) and it worked !

    Any news on this?
    She feels she is not getting any customers because of the problems?

    *Site in question is http://www.babysewcute.com/

    *She notified me of the problem on Sept 1 saying that she had two customers and herself to have the problem.

    *There are no addons that I am aware of.

    *There has been no new orders since 5/01/2011

    *Customers have been able to register however as I see history of that in the admin area.

    *We asked the host about server changes and they said there was nothing that would cause carts to stop.

    *Something she noticed, not sure if it is relevant:
    One thing I noticed is that when a customer goes onto my website and puts a halloween costume in their cart PRIOR to them actually creating an account, and then after they have the item in their cart they CREATE an account, somehow they can't CHECKOUT.

    But if they CREATE their account first and then place the item into the cart it sometimes works for CHECKOUT processing. I'm not sure if I am explaining that correctly....

    Here is the history on the cart:
    Zen Cart 1.3.9h

    v1.3.7 [2009-02-02 00:26:57] (Version Update 1.3.6->1.3.7)
    v1.3.6 [2009-02-02 00:26:42] (Version Update 1.3.5->1.3.6)
    v1.3.5 [2009-02-02 00:26:23] (Version Update 1.3.0.2->1.3.5)

    LOL ... yup ... the old "we did stuff, but nothing we'd do would ever break anything for *you*" response. Oh so helpful they are.

    Those are important symptoms to note, for sure.

    Looks like you need to start here: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...Obscure_Issues
