Im still new to this so this might seem dumb and I cant find it anywhere because i probably am asking the wrong thing but here goes.....

The image shows my logo overlapping the navigation bar along with a blue background. How can I actually combine my logo with the navigation bar and next question is how can i get that blue background to span the whole page? I would like it to fade to the lime green color shown under the navigation.

Any help would be the better than a bailout!
