Countdown Stock Total Based on Attributes

Hey all ...

Thanks in advance for you time reading this.

We have a card store and certain cards are offered as Single, 6-Pack, 12-Pack and 24-Pack with different pricing for each. I have set these up via attributes ... but I am wondering how I make the stock level for the product adjust when the customer selects a pack of cards. Currently, the customer selects the quantity they want via the attributes and clicks "Add to Cart." We see that the customer wants a 24-Pack (as an example) but only 1 item is removed from the stock level on the back end. Obviously we would like for the stock to count down based on how many pieces the customer orders. I have looked at "Quantity Discounts" but it doesn't quite do what we want it to on the pricing end (as far as I can tell).
