Video Preview option on product page?

Hi,

1.) I have list of sample demo movie clips in may gallery. I have added them in products. But i don't see any place from where i can upload the videos.

2.) I want 2 buttons in the product detail page.
a.) Download: to download the sample movie directly without purchasing.
b.) Play: to play the movie online in my own player.

What can be my solution....

This is probably just a case of creating a folder on the server, and sending your video files to that folder. You then represent the folder in any PATH configurations for that video to display.

I want a field or place in admin section from where the client can select the video file by himself. I don't want to upload the files by me and then display it by clicking on the download /play buttons.

There is no standard feature in ZC enabling what you want, so you are going to have to either write the code, or employ someone to do it.

We use a very simple HTML <embed> tag to display a swf file.

We have given the client training, and they now know how to manage this feature.

Well If I need to write the code then which files should i change and add the field that is required. I am ready for modifying and adding the field with writing code even.

The modifications required to the code will be extensive and probably very detailed.

You are looking for a feature that: will allow a store administrator to add/upload a video clip to a product description (probably in the same way that a product image is added and uploaded).

There may be ways in which you could clone and modify the code used for images, but I imagine there are a lot of files involved.
