I added my logo.gif that has a transparent background but for some reason it shows up with about a 10 px of white space around the logo.

Any idea on whats causing this.

The image itself has that background.

I saved it as a .gif and the DW background is transparent. The image doesn't have that white ring around it. I'm thinking it's some sort of cell padding or something. The logo.gif does not have that white space.
Thanks for your reply.
Padding and margins are not curved.

When I open that image in my imaging program, it does indeed have that white area around it.
it might be transparent in your editing program , but once is been saved , it will save all colors including the white .
DW is not designed for graphic editing . but you can eliminate gif colors , by exporting and selecting alpha transparency and selecting the color that you don't want , in this case the white , that should remove the border around your image.
