Default How to make several categories into a group?

I try to make some categories into a group. For example, categories A, B and C are in group one. Categories D, E and F are in group two.
I have built categories A - F long time ago. I have to build group. It will be more easy to browse.

    Thanks very much!

If you have too many categories for customers to make sense of in the top level, you can reduce the number shown in the top into "group" categories. Make new categories M and N alongside the existing categories, and then move the existing ones into the new ones as subcategories. In admin > Catalog > Categories/Products > category listing, click the blue (m) at the right of the category you want to move.

Alternatively, if you just want the Categories sidebox to be easier to understand, but still show all of the existing categories at the same time, install Categories Dressing. It will let you make the box into as many separate boxes as you want, each with its own heading.
