red flag Issue-Store+admin hiding behind config error?

    Hi guys,
This is my first post here, and im new to zencart, my clients previous designer did the setup of his cart and everything was working a couple of day ago when i took over the contract.

I believe it is the latest version of the cart, on friday i was logged in admin and ftp and the database and everything was fine, but at some point i think i made an error and spent quite a long time looking for the source of it. After trying many things, I had the web host restore the entire site to a backup from before I began work on it and also change the password for both the database and the ftp.

I then went into the two config files, changed the passwords for the database and saved them and turned off write access, So as far as I can tell the site should be working exactle as it was before I began work on it however the error page continues to persist.

    Currently this:
    http://www.lightupandjuggle.com/store

I've checked the path using the cwd.php suggestion from another post here in the forum and it says something different than that which is in the files

Here is the two config files

    The cwd.php file listed this:

    /home/.caroline/lightupandjuggle/lightupandjuggle.com

yet when i remove mastermynde from the config files it makes no difference, that is the handle of the previous web designer and those paths were correct before, i've tried both with and without.

I was going to do a reinstall but it said that the database could be deleted or damaged and it is quite an extensive database.

Is there some way to get a more verbose error readout?

I do not understand why this is occurring as the site is running from a restore point that functioned perfectly. The only thing different now is new ftp and database passwords.

Are there any other locations that information exists within the zen cart file structure?

Thank You for your assistance and please, if it would help, contact me via msnm
    crockatt@hotmail

I am not being paid vast amount for the work i am supposed to be doing on this site, and this error has cost me many hours already which I had not expected, in addition the work I did do already has all been lost due to the restore.

    Hi again,

I've also just uploaded the error reporting file to both locations, the admin and non, but whe running it, nothing happens, no log file is created in the cache folder. The folder is writable.

Strange tho, in the past ive worked with php and whenever there is a problem the error comes up on the page telling me what file and line number. This is frustrating!

I've checked your URL and all is working fine, only...
You need to remove your installation files directory ( red warning box at the top of your site )
