Can anyone tell me if it is possible to duplicate an entire category including the products contained in it?

I need to show a category in the main nav of a site but it also has to appear in a subcategory aswel. I was just wondering if there was a quicker way of doing this than having to copy all products as linked products etc.

Any help would be great thanks in advance.
