Default Authorize.net (SIM) (Not Configured) error

I have been running V 1.3.8a for a long time collecting and processing transactions. But finally have given it up and installed Authorize.net to do the processing. But after installing the Authorize.net (SIM) module there appears a (Not Configured) in the discription. Have talked to everyone that I can find at Authorize.net and else where and all my setup seems to be OK from what they can tell.
I am running a dedicated IP, have a purchased certificate, and SSL is operating. And up till a couple months ago I even had passed SecurityMetrics PCI compliance.

What must I do to get the (Not Configured) off my module list??

After setting up for Authorize.net I ran the tests for all the different cards and all worked fine. But then the first transaction that was from Europe messed up.

The transaction went to Authorize.net and was approved and held. But, there was no order generated in Zen Cart, only the customers account information. The customer reported that he was notified by the system that an error had occurred. He then er-processed the same order and was told that there was a duplicate order.

I have scoured the forums and documentation for a full day and can find nothing?

Thank you in advance for your help.

(Not Configured) suggests that you've not specified a non-default account name and transaction key.

But, more important than that ... why are you using the SIM module? The AIM module is simpler and uses a more secure and reliable method of handling transactions, and I've heard it said that some people even get better rates when using the AIM module (although I cannot specifically confirm any preferential rates related to it).

Have the Transaction Key and API Login ID in place, but because I really didn't understand what the MD5 Hash was & that everything indicated that I really didn't need it, I left it alone.

BUT, when I finally figured out that the MD5 Hash was simply a encryption key that I create for myself I put it in and the (Not Configured) went away. -- It's the simple ones that always get me !!! --

The reason that I didn't go with the AIM was that it required a more secure server that some of my clients do not have. So I wanted to do a setup that they could use with the "Inexpensive" hosting services. But once I have things working and tested out I will be changing over to the AIM...
