Delete Sub category image from product page

Hi, I have looked for this all over and not sure if its possible.

I have a category with no image with sub categories in with an image for each subcategory. When you click a sub category to look at the procucts within that sub category I currently have the sub category image at the top followed by the images (details etc) of each product. How do I remove the sub cateogry image at the top without deleting the image of the sub category within the main category page.

Hope that makes sense?!!
