Customers can order without registering?!?!

We have our shopping cart set up, and it is currently working. We had our first order the other day, but the customer was able to not create an account, and process the order through google checkout.

Is there a way to prevent this and have the customer create an account FIRST under ZCART database, in order to purchase from us?

I tried looking everywhere in Zen Cart to enable this feature, but I am unable to find it.

I don't use it, but as I understand it, that's the whole point of Google Checkout (and Paypal Express) - customers can check out without creating an account on your site.

I think one of the fundamental features of Google Checkout is that the customer can avoid making an account in the store. I doubt it can be corrected to your liking. It may be possible to have Google send the customer's info back with the order confirmation so ZC has it in the database - I know Paypal is supposed to do this when set up right.

I kind of figured it had something to do with google checkout. Since they have their own database and stuff. I was just panicing because the manager wants it to register with zcart too. I kept telling him to get a merchant account, but he like google, so there is the downfall. lol
