Google Checkout problem. (new-be)

Hello,
I have checked the forums for a solution but the suggestions don't seem to help. The google check option shows on the check out page but at the final checkout step the screen reverts to the shopping cart. I am not sure what to do or how to fix it. Please help.
I am using Google Checkout v1.4.7
Zen Cart 1.3.8a
PHP Version 5.2.8

Hi, see your problem. I'm sorry but I can't work out either why you're in a circular loop or how you managed to get a Google Checkout Radio Button as a payment option - If you look in this forum for a thread I started called "I have just had to disable Google Checkout..." you'll find the guys who answered my post, may be one of them can help?. The problem is they say that what I want (which is what you have!) is not available and what I complained about is actually how it works!
I'll keep an eye on your thread and hope you get a resolution! Any hints on how to get your set-up gratefully received!

(I copied some of this from another post that was deep down in there.)

The reason you are seeing Google in the radio button list with the other payment options is because your store is not using the tpl_checkout_payment_default.php file that came with the Google module. It will replace the original checkout file in your store. This file is the same as the original except it has a few extra lines of code which keeps Google from appearing on that radio list, (because Google Payment cannot work from within that list. I know you want it to, we all do, but it does not work there.)

You need to copy that (Google version) file to your template folder like the instructions say. If you do not have a custom template installed then you want to put it in ../includes/templates/template_default/templates/. Back up the original first in case you ever want to remove GC.

If you do have a custom template installed then follow the instructions by putting it in the override folder that you made for the template.
