Default Hide or enhance attribute name in cart

I have been searching for this but no luck - so here goes

I have several attributes one is a text box for the customer to input text for a product imprint. This work fine, however when checking out the list of attributes shows the attribute names then the selections - but with the text box (imprint information) it is confusing since it shows up like this:

Imprint Text - See Imprint Note The imprint text began with the word "The" and continues to be all on the same line even if the customer hits Enter between lines of text

I know I can change the name of the attribute from "Imprint Text - See Imprint Note" to something smaller - but is there a way to hide it or better yet add a <br> so it starts on a new line in the cart during checkout - so the customer see more what they actually entered rather then a continuous line of text.

Hope that isn;t too confusing - and thanks for any help or suggestions.

We accomplished this by using fields like line 1, line 2 etc.

I have tried working with that method however with other attributes that method makes it hard to align thing in each columns of attributes. My customer wants a specific attribute order and with attributes being different heights it doen't work.

Can the number of attribute columns be changed?

Maker sense or is it confusing?
