New Products Layout Problem

Hi,

On my website I have the New Products for (Month) function showing. It defaults as showing 9 products but I would rather just show 6. Is there anyway I can alter this?

Sorry, just a follow up to my previous question. Now I have reduced the amount of items from 9 to 6 is there anyway I can choose what 6 items I want to show everytime the page is loaded?


I know you can choose what featured products you want but don't know if I can do the same with new products.

Any advice would be really helpful.

These are a semi random selection from the new products list. So, NO one can not select which are to be represented.
You can limit the date/time range for what is condidered as New
admin > config > maximum values > New Product Listing - Limited to ... > select from options

Similar issue, how can I space this new products box out better? Right now the titles under the images are almost on top of one another with a major space on the far right. Ideally, I want 2 rows of 3 evenly spaced products instead of 1 row of 6.

^ Oooh nvm, I just figured it out, so if anyone else has this issue, it's:

admin>config>index listing> new products columns per row.

Somehow, I'd set that to 10! So, I reset it to 3, and voila!
