Using zencart in a wrapper

Hi,

I am using zencart in a wrapper in Joomla. there are a couple of things i can't figure out or find answers to.

1. I want to have the HOME link in zencart take me to the home in my main website.

2. The email that is sent out in "Refer To A Friend" has 2 links in it. One directly to the product but it eliminates the wrapper so it is just the zencart shop without the Joomla site. The second is a link the the shop also without the Joomla site.

example: www.mysite.com/shop

The shop directory is where the zencart is installed and the joomla site is in the root.

Hopefully my terminology is understandable. I'm not much of a css, php, person.

When you say "wrapper" - are you meaning an i-frame? If so, you are going to have major problems with the shopping cart section and the checkout.

I've heard that someone (some company) has developed a module for Joomla that facilitates ZC integration. This is a commercial module, and I would imagine that the Joomla forum will have details.

I've spent alot of time in the admin panel, not very intuitive to me. Lots of tuning things on and off and not seeing changes or knowing what is supposed to change.

A description like "If you want to change the size, color, text etc. of this box in this position please select your choice on the left"
or something like that. More like a CMS.

Yes it an iframe. Why is this a problem?

I really like Joomla but don't like the cart offering VirtueMart.

I really like zencart but don't like the fact that I have to edit css and php files and its a struggle to get things looking good compared to Joomla.

In zencart I have to move files around for templates and it is difficult to make changes to the template unless your familiar with css and finding things. Adding products is awesome but that about it.

I just read 2.0 will require me to rebuild what templates I have.
