product description colour

i have been reading this site for the past 3 hrs and still didn't find an answer. i have tried every tip in all the threads and still got black text

so where in plain laymans terms do i change the font colour of the product description to white so its easy to read, i still have a few edits to make on the pages like the privacy page and such but i want to make it work first

i have installed the darkness template

Find this:

Locate this declaration in the .css sheet

}

1. add color: ffffff;

As it appears that you are using the wysiwyg editor in the admin to style the font & size, you can also style the text color there

i'm not i upped a full csv so all the products got added, i am using dreamweaver to edit the files, i did like you said but colour still didn't change :?

You can't use Dreamweaver to do direct editing of Zen Cart's files. Get yourself a good text editor for programming. There are free ones available.

i checked the files and i found the fault, knew it was something stupidly simple, when i added the image for the body background i had missed the colour,

going to use notepad from now on, use to use it when i was doing php but was told dreamweaver was better

Make sure it's notepad++ and not the simpler one.
