    Default Removing sales Message

    I've just started customizing my site (www.smokinlaces.com) and woul like to know how i get rid of the 'Sales Message Goes Here' text at the top of my homepage.

    I'v managed to use the forums and other threads to answer most of my questions, but haven't managed to sort this one yet.

    Also I have been able to customize my home page, but for some reason i still have a log-in prompt in at the top of my home page. I can't find anything in the admin CP which can use to delete this.

    Can anyone help with these two queries?

    Thanks in advance.

    Okay i'm able to locate my file, but when upload it back to the directory it doesn't fully remove the sales mesage. Instead i get text saying 'tagline here'

    I'm completely baffled now.

    What program are you using to edit the PHP files?

    You should only use a plain text editor. Word processors and programs like Dreamweaver may add lines to the bottom of the file, causing the blank page.

    Also, be careful to remove only the text leaving the single quotes.

    Code:
    define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', 'TagLine Here');
    becomes
    Code:
    define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', '');
    To edit php files, use a good text editor like Notepad++ or Crimson Editor. Both are free downloads from the net.
