Hi zenners,

Two things I am trying to figure out (more to come but later ). Firstly, we'll work on order basis but not stock. So how can I prevent this stock level thing from showing up?

Secondly, this may sound a bit weird but do I have to design a database in phpmyadmin from scratch? That means creating tens of fields i.e. name, surname, dob, etc, etc. Or would it be just enough to create a db named, say, mystore as stated in the tutorial, grant the user with DBA permissions and leave the rest to the zencart?

Admin - Configuration - Stock

No, just create a database in your control panel, make a note of the name, user name and password for the Zencart installation.

Understand that many hosts (in a shared hosting enviornment) add your control panel user name to the database name and DB user name.
