Question about category images

When you click on most of the categories, there will be sub-categories. We have 150px x 200px sub-category images.

However, when you click on one of those sub-categories, the next page ... that same image is displayed at the top of the page (regardless of if there are products listed or further sub-categories).

I deleted the category images within Admin but that deletes both instances.

What are the template files called for altering the layout of the sub-category listing pages, and the pages where the sub-category icon (top center of page) is?

You can control the display/hide of elements with a simple:

display: none;

addition to that element's style in the stylesheet.

Try:

#categoryImgListing {display:none;}

That will render the category image HIDDEN for that particular instance.
