Rename www.store.com/store/index.php

I need to rename the index.php (www.store.com/store/index.php)file to mainindex.php. Where is this file defined? Where do I redefine the file for zen cart to update its links?

I have created another index.php which redirects the visitor according to certain criteria. This page is loaded by default by the browser. When and if the visitor is redirected to the store, he is redirected to mainindex.php.

Please help with my original question.
