    Default Tracking down in-line widths

I've installed ZenCart as a solution for a friend to sell his pottery online.

I've been slowly learning now to set up a custom template and use override files.

I'm running into an issue where I'm unable to set the width of some div's or table cells by class because there appears to be in-line widths on some objects.

I haven't been able to track down where these inline widths are being added. Is there somewhere in the admin area where you can change the in-line widths for "productListing-heading" or in-line style chunks on items like "leftBoxContainer"?

I've tried to put an "!important" width in the style sheet to override the in-line style but it's not working.

    Thanks in advance...

If adding !important is not letting your rule control the element, there is something besides the inline style that is trumping it, or ignoring it completely. Some properties are not applicable to some kinds of elements, like margin/padding on inline text elements.

A link to your site may let us advise on the correct selectors/styling to use.

Sideboxes are generically controlled in Configuration > Layout Settings.

This is what I was looking for!

I've been kind of swimming in the admin area being new to ZenCart admin.

    Thank you!

Spend some time and at least look at every button and page in the admin, even if you don't think it applies to you. Some things are in locations that are not intuitive when starting from other elements, or do things not mentioned in their buttons.

I know, there are lots of them, and some are not obvious as to their function until you test them.
