About Flash .swf

Hallo

Hallo everyone. I have a Crousel that i want to install, but it dosent seem to work. I have read the forum and followed the instructions from Wiki, but nothink works.

Well it works half. It loads the background, but the swf file not.
Here is my swf file http://www.games-en-consoles.com/carousel/carousel.swf so that you can see that there is nofthing wrong whit the swf file. It loads perfectly.

Here is a html file whit the same code that i put in the admin define page editor on the main_page. http://www.games-en-consoles.com/carousel/carousel.html .You can see that it works.

Only when i put the code in the main_page then it just loads the background and not the swf

Please help

I have tried it on FireFox and IE. Non of them work.

first of all , neither of your links work ..

you may want to put your swf file in root of your store .for some reason that works .
don't forget to change your code to point to new location of your swf.

Why i dont know even known that everythink else is the same just the path is changed.

P.S - The links where broken because i was trying still to fix it.

I just wake up this morning and saw that the Carousel loads fine in IE , but dosent load at all in FireFox. Any sugesstions to why not ?

when it comes to internet you never sleep , never

looking at your site using FF 3 and loads all fine

try to empty all your ff cached files and reopening your page and see if you will see the flash .

How do you know so much about zen-cart then ? You are probably one of the developers then and you dont have time to build your own site :)

I was thinking WHILE i was sleeping :) my swf file gets its information from a xml file.

example for one image

<item id="home">
<link type="_blank">http://www.games-en-consoles.com/ps3-games-c-69/50-cent-blood-on-the-sand-p-209</link>
<tooltip>50 Cent: Blood on the Sand</tooltip>
<image>50 Cent - Blood on the Sand.jpg</image>
</item>

Now if i can make it so that he can call from SQL for the data.

Like

<link> GET MYSQL LINK </link>
<tooltip> GET PRODUCT TITLE </tooltip>
<image> GET IMAGE </image>

That should be possible in a php file, but i dont know if it is possible also in a XML file
