    Default linking to wrong database

I just moved my store from one domain to another, on the same server. I created the database on the new domain, went through the zc_install pages again, put in the details for the new database, but it's still going back to the old database. And when I try to open the admin panel for the 'new' site, it switches immediately to the log-in and admin panel on the old domain, as you can see here:

    www.coolcountryhats.com.au/admin

How can I force it to link to its own database and admin panel?

    Help! Jen

It's OK, I should have done a search, but I was panicking!
Found the answer already, here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68861.

But now there's a new hitch - I thought that by copying over all the tweaked files, the site would look the same. But it has reverted to some weird default-style stuff, eg the wording on the front page.
At least I've got the right template showing, but what about all the other changes I made? Where have they gone?
And there are no sideboxes ...
I hope I can fix all this through the admin panel, yes?

and since you posted your admin location , you better start renaming your admin folder and do the proper config modification to reflect new admin folder .

But Tony no-one knows the password, or even username, so is it a problem? I would have thought anyone could even guess the address of the admin folder anyway?

by rename from admin to something else, you will make it harder for hackers to try to figure location of your admin page . thats pretty much part of ZC safty and security tutorial as well.
