Lost ability to add more sideboxes?

I know I've done something stupid, and probably something very easy to fix, but I've been trying to find my mistake for 4 days now, and I'm out of ideas.

I've lost the ability to add more sideboxes (standard ones like manufacturers.php ). When I started building this site (new to zen) I probably turned something off, or changed something...but I can't add anything new. I can turn my current ones on and off from the Layout Boxes Controller, but when I pick something new, which I had turned off since I started creating this site, they won't show up...HELP!

Several sideboxes have conditionals: Like best sellers-that must have sales to display "Best sellers" otherwise they do not display.
Manufacturers - You need to enter them for the box to display

Sorry Kobra...that didn't work. I created a Manufacture and still nothing shows up. I know how to turn them on and off via the Layout Box Controller, but it's not allowing me to turn on anything other then the two I have had all along.

I checked the sideboxes php files and all of them have something to show. All I ever did to those was to turn them off via the controller.

I think I must have played around in some other php that is now causing this problem...just not sure.

Have you added any mods to the Admin?

Not really. I've tried to make this site very simple until I add the payment mods. All I remember doing is turning things "off" via the controller in admin. I know I worked with many of the files in the "configuration" during the initial setup, but I don't recall messing with any "admin" php's, and since it's been a while since I first turned all the other sideboxes off, I just can't recall what I did...dah.

What are the settings in the Admin> Configuration> Layout Settings>for the right column?

Column Right Status Global = 1
Column Width Right = 150px

Okay - What boxes are you trying to activate and what settings are you using for them in the Admin> Tools> Layout Boxes Controller?

But it doesn't make any difference which sidebox I pick. I have tried every single one (turn on and off) and they still don't show up on the main page. Only the ones I put on when I started building the site...the one's you currently see.
