    Default Display 3 Particular Categories

    Good Morning,

I was wondering if there is a way to display only 2 or 3 particular Categories in the header.

I have installed the CSS Flyout header and that is great, but it displays all the categories where I just want a select few.

    Thanks
    Sue

    Su,
need a link to the site, so I can see if I can control the header elements in the stylesheet.css

    Su,
You will have to ask the mod developer for CSS Flyout header, reply in the thread for this mod.
    1. it would require major coding and work

    I am back again :)

Just wondering if it is possible to have 3 particular Categories display on main section of the web page....meaning not in a sidebox, header or footer....

Sorry new to Zen Cart still learning the correct terminology....

    Hi Again,

I spent the weekend looking at EZ Pages. I was able to create what I wanted the Home link to do

    http://emeraldspares.com/products/in...page=page&id=1

Now, my question is; can I make this link
    http://emeraldspares.com/products/in...page=page&id=1

    appear as my home link....

    so when they click http://www.emeraldspares.com/products....

    this link appearshttp://emeraldspares.com/products/index.php?main_page=page&id=1

    Thanks
    Sue

    Sue,
Yes you can, you will half to find the .php file in the template you used and hard code the link to this specific spot..

This will help track down the .php file

    Developers Tool Kit

Look in your Zen Cart Admin Panel/ Tools/ Developers Tool Kit

You will find a very handy toy for doing searches of the php files and configuration tables ...

Use the bottom input box to enter any text, code, etc. that you are looking for
    1. Place text or code what you are looking for
    2. Ex: All Products, I do not see Products to click when I link from the home button, I assume you mean All Products
    3. Then select Catalog, Admin or Both
    4. ... click search ...

This will show you all files that contain the text, code, etc. that you are looking for

This will check the configuration table and the product_type_layout table for configuration_keys that can be customized via the Zen Cart Admin without the need to touch any of the code

    * The top input box can be used to search for constants, the things in ALL_CAPS and select NONE from the dropdown and click search
