ozpost shipping module

Here we go again RodG,
I installed all the ozpost files in the correct locations. have double checked this.
This is the error mess I get as soon as I go to admin> modules> shipping>
This is strange since there is no file called "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/htdocs/zc1/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/ozpost.php" (as indicated below) in the module structure ? ozpost.php file is located in \includes\modules\shipping\ not /includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/ as I understand it.

After installing the Ozpost module I now get "debug messages" in all my product descriptions. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Yes.
The admin configuration section of the module is divided into two parts, Australia and Overseas. To enable only the overseas methods simply deselect the 'Australia' options.

You will of course need to add the free shipping module (and configure it for Aust sales only) otherwise there'll be no valid methods available for Aussie buyers.

rod, im having issues where it seems to be reverting back to default config... it may be conflict with old austpost mod, ill try uninstalling it first

I have been trawling through the forums for the last 2 sleepless nights. I have installed ozpost and am having some difficulty. This is as much of the relevent information as I can give you.
If you have any ideas could you please let me know.
Here goes

The problem

Shows “estimate shipping costs”

Add post code for Australia

Hit Update

Then the Shipping section disappears

Refresh page

Shipping section reappears

Available shipping methods and rates heading shows with no information in the table.

Other Information:
Hide parcel rates if letter sized NO

Use cURL Yes

Weight is in grams

Ozpost and Free shipping are enabled- all other modules are disabled.
I have tried turning off Free shipping, reinstalled ozpost from scratch
And made sure that the template files are placed in the right folders ( I am not using Classic)

When I tried the debug mode – the information for the parcel size and weight appeared and there was a response from the server.

It's probaby my error but any ideas would be appreciated. And thanks for designing a shipping module for Australia.

Hi Rod. Thanks for your work on the ozpost module - it's great!

When I activate Letters for overseas (Letters is not selected for Australia) it also shows up for Australian customers during checkout. Is is possible to disable Letters for Australian customers while keeping it as an option for overseas customers?

The reason for this is I want all Australian letters to be sent as registered but to give overseas customers the cheaper option if they want it.

Hi Rod,
I'm brand new to Zen Cart and I was looking at installing this module as it supports Fastway couriers.
After having a look at the txt files included with the version I just downloaded (1.0.2), I was wondering about the back end processing of this module.
If I'm reading correctly, it talks to a private website (ozpost.vcsweb.com) to get the prices rather than talking to Fastway directly. Is this something that can be disabled / changed? I'm worried about what would happen to my shop if that website went down for any reason (DOS attack / account over monthly transfer quota etc).

Also, I tried to download the latest version as per one of your other posts (about it being compatible with 1.3.9), but the link you gave (http://vcsweb.com/rod/ozpost_v2.0.5.zip) gets a error.

I am after a very similar solution to you Grandpa_shea, however I am not using any modules as such I just want to offer free Australia wide regular postage however charge a flat rate for international shoppers?

my client hyosungparts.asia is setting up a new domain hyosungparts.com.au using the same database as an add-on domain. can you please confirm if this is ok. will the shipping module work on hyosungparts.com.au or do we need to pay more.
