red flag weird checkout problem with authorized.net

    Hi,

I configured authorized.net (tried with AIM and SIM)

with both methods i get a problem where after completing the transaction it sends me back to the 2nd step and say "There has been an error processing your credit card. Please try again." (using the SIM option) or "credit card number is required" using the AIM option.

The transaction however did registered in the authorized.net web site.

    IDEAS?

Have you tried looking at debug logs?

Have you set up the module according to instructions? https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=373

    thanks for the quick reply.

did not look at the log files. where can I find them?

Everything is configured correctly (we have few web-sites that works with it) and as I said I can see the transaction on the authrized.net admin - there is transaction ID over there with all the info and card number so abviusly the info is getting to its destination.

In your authnet settings in your ZC admin, you can enable debug log-to-file and the logs will be stored in the /cache/ folder; or enable log to email, and the logs will be sent to the storeowner's email address. The logs should explain the returned results received by the gateway, which should indicate why it's being rejected at the point where the customer sees it.
