Welcome email not sent with COWOA, fast & easy checkout, easy signup/login mods

i am using v1.3.8

all emails work fine except for my welcome email for new accounts. it does not get sent to customer. i get an admin copy but customer receives nothing.

i don't rcv any error mssgs and they do not show up in email archiver. only the admin copies show.

i have searched forums thoroughly and can't find a solution or even a hint as to where my problem may reside.

i have seen lots of people that want this turned off and i am wishing mine worked! i had hoped following one of those threads would lead me to something but that didn't happen.

any ideas?

currently php.

but i have tried them all.

what i don't understand is why all other emails work. order confirmation, account changes, if i send from admin, etc. they all work except the welcome mssg.

so i don't believe it can be that setting since it would affect all other mssgs.

I suspect it's likely related to a bug introduced by one of the many addons you've apparently installed, since at least 2 of them deal with the create-account process specifically: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/search...nduser&u=72649

but i would not say "many" i have installed 2. Fast Easy Checkout and Easy Sign Up and Login.

You've discussed COWOA and Easy Signup, of which both muddle with the standard create-account process.

I would suggest setting up another store in another folder+database with no customizations, and test all the functions there. Then see whether those emails are sent correctly. That'll show you where problems likely lie. Then take appropriate action to resolve any problems that could be tied to addons you've installed.

Or you could start uninstalling things ... but a new install is always cleaner and is a purer test.
