Shipping/Payment Modules Disappeared

I have just found this morning that all shipping and payment modules have disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else before and if so does anyone know why?
Also is there a way to being back the configuration of these modules or do they need re-installing and configuring

Lots of people have claimed that things have suddenly stopped working or things have just disappeared without reason, but all such claims are unfounded. Computers and computer software is really very predictable in this regard.

This depends on several factors, such as, which shipping & payment modules were involved (there are currently 140 payment modules and over 50 shipping modules,), whether those modules store their configuration in the database (most do) or whether the configs are stored in the php files themselves (not often, not user friendly).
Most importantly though is what has changed? Did your ISP do an upgrade perhaps? Did you install (or try to install) a new module recently?
Have you edited or upload any files recently?

Again, it really all comes back to 'what has changed'.

Looks like it may of been my hosting compnay , All the modules just re-appeared and everything is now working fine
