Logo won't resize with page

I have been reading a ton of stuff to try to get this solved and can't.

I have a logo that is 1250 x 138 and no matter what I change it won't compress or stretch in the browser as it expands or contracts.

I have set the logoWrapper to 138 height and set the MainWrapper width to 100% in the Classic CSS file (I am using that template).

I have tried smaller logo's but that didn't work very well as they got too small to be worthwhile.

Any suggestions please

A browser won't ordinarily expand or compress a graphic when the width of the page is dynamic. However, depending on what your logo/header looks like, it is often possible to make it look like that is happening -- within limits.

If you Google for "sliding door technique" you can read all about how it's done, in general. Then you should be able to tell if your logo/header will work that way.

The general idea is that you use two graphics, one for the top-left corner and one for the right side. And one of them slides under the other when the page width changes.

If you post a link to your graphic, I can probably tell you if there's any hope of making it work in your case.

thanks for the quick response.

I think we can do without the 'sliding doors' for now but that's a useful consideration for the future. I have made a note of the term.

I have the same problem. I could resize the gif to 1000 in illustrator but it'll stay in the same little size in the left hand corner. (The logo is in the Template I imported in file)

??? Can't I go in and manully change something, where d i find this php?
