Equivalent to OSCommece Sub category text box contribution, cant seem to find one

Hi all

I am looking for a contribution or builtin function similar to this one that appears on some OSCommerce sites i have seen, I don't know how it works
but from what i have seen..

It seems that there must be an extra field on the create categories page in which you put in some extra information for a specific category and that info then appears on all the pages of the products within that category,

heres an example http://scrappinpatch.co.nz/index.php?cPath=579_781 see the box that begiins "These products will be arriving in early April. Rec...." it also appears on all the sub product pages

I am sure there is probably similar functionality on ZenCart but for the life of me I can't find it

Are you referring to the Categories Description that you can access when Adding/Editing a Category?

I don't think so

unless the category description appears on all the product pages within that category

if yoiu look at the link i gave, there is some text on the category page "These products will be arriving in early April. Rec...." if you select any of the products on that page and go to that products page that same text also appears there, thats what i want to do.

It something to do with the category, you don't have to individually add it to each of the child products pages

That is just customizing the template file to grab the categories_description and displaying it ...
