The warning will give you the path. One thing to keep in mind is to place a copy of the defines page in your overrides folder. The overrides folder is usually the name of your template.

An example path for the main page is: includes/languages/english/html_includes/your overrides folder/define_main_page.php

Change the permissions to 777, save. Edit through admin, save. Set permissions back to original.
