application error Internal server error for admin login

    Hey all,

I just finished moving my site to a new domain. I followed the instructions for moving and the site comes up fine. However, when I try to access the admin page to log on I get a 500 internal server error. I have checked my admin/includes/configure file and the ssl is set to false. I am using the regular http to get to my admin site for now until I can afford a ssl cert.

Any help in figuring out why I am getting the 500 would be greatly appericiated.

    1. Your server's apache errorlog should tell you the actual cause of the "500 internal server error" message.
    2. What is in your /admin/.htaccess file? (if you have one)

I had the same problem and i fixed it by giving permission to admin folder, in my case "755".

    OWNER: read, write, execute
    GROUP: read, execute
    PUBLIC: read, execute

    hope it helps
