Cannot create SUB CATEGORIES ??

Hi all,
Zencart 1.3.8, addons are simple SEO URL version 3.6.6

When I click the Category folder icon, on the next page the only buttons I have available are "back" and "new product".

According to the FAQ/Tutorial, there should be a button for "new category" - but I don't have that...???

Anyone have some experience with that, or advice please?

Do you have any products in the category? Categories hold products or subcategories, never both. Did you add products before making any categories? In that case, you will need to delete all of the products, create your categories, then put the products back in. About how many products do you have?
