Coupon Module not for Group Pricing

Hi everyone,

I have a client who wants to offer coupons to everyone but their wholesalers.

My thought was to have the coupon module only show up on the checkout page if the customer is not logged in as a wholesaler. (I am using Group Pricing for this store)

Does anyone have any advice as to why I maybe should/shouldn't do this?

And if so, I'm having trouble with saying If the customer is group pricing ID 1 ...


Any thoughts would be really appreciated.

In the module ot_coupon.php you could test for the Customer's Group ID and if it is in your wholesale group then not show the module as if it were not even installed ...

That's pretty much what I was going for, so its nice to know i'm not too far off. I will try and utilize what little php I know to make this happen.

I'll post my solution if I find one...
