I had to make that margin 4em to compensate, it looks absolutely fine on Chrome and Safari but not on IE!

I don't think this will be a quick fix as you have all sorts of margins and padding affecting the layout, including column wrappers set to 150px but are pushed out to 200px.. IE8 and firefox appear ok, so you could use IE7 conditional comments to "fix" things. If it were my site I would change most layout settings (widths/margins and padding) to get everything showing consistant in all browsers.

There isn't that many changes I have made to the CSS files. I have just restored the original CSS files and uploaded them and there is still a larger gap in Internet Explorer!

I edited your stylesheet.css... It is now using a column width of 150px that you have set in your admin... You may want to increase that...

This should display the same in firefox and IE7 (but not tested thoroughly)

To fix it, I have changed several statements - mainly margin/padding/width values...

Ah I've just realised something, which is the reason why I started playing around with the widths and margins in the first place! The adverts in the 'Sponsors' box are overlapping the box! This is what sparked the changes, so they would fit inside the box!
