Invisible products?

I searched for this, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for:

We're using ZC 3.7, and we occasionally get special/custom orders from clients that aren't regularly stocked products. For now, we're just making a product for them and sending a link to them so that they can pay for the product before we make it. Is there a way to make these items not show up anywhere else? We've had issues with people (accidentally I presume...) buying someone else's special order, not to mention it kind of just clogs up the site and there's no good place to put these items.

I'd basically like a product that someone could purchase like a normal product, but that only shows up when they have the URL to the specific product, and shows up on the admin side of the site so we can make changes to it.
