Google Checkout not estimating UPS Shipping rates correctly

Hi all,

I'm almost done with my first major customization of ZenCart - and I have to say, it's a pretty awesome shopping cart. I'm more of a designer than anything so to pull off a site like this is very rewarding.

Anyways here is the problem:

If I add more than one products to the cart and check out, the UPS shipping rates are wrong. It's adding a few cents per item rather than a few dollars.

Example....
1 hat = $6.81
3 hats = $6.89

I'm guessing 3 hats should be about $15 shipping. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am facing the same problem. My solution is to increase the basic weight of your item. But it is not recommended, cauz it imposes more shipping fee if buyer buy only one.

I might have solved the problem, not 100% sure though. I looked at the XML ZenCart sent GC - and noticed the total item weight was off. In the case below the total weight should have been 1.5.

So... my developer whiz found a few lines of code in "\googlecheckout\library\googlecart.php" and modified them (line 443).
